Last year’s Paris Street Art Book kicked off the As Seen on the Streets of… series, and now the new installment, My London Street Art Book, is finally here! This project is entirely independent and DIY (do-it-yourself) in spirit, free from commercial concerns. The author’s grassroots approach—learned by exploring the gap between dream and reality—turns the London edition into more than an art book; it’s a passion project.
Artists’ Voices and the Power of Photography
This book is not just a tour guide; it’s a living, dynamic portrait of the city. It brings together the personal perspectives of 11 different London street artists. Alongside key figures like Remi Rough, Dotmaster, and Carrie Reichardt, contributions from lesser-known artists create a rich mosaic of viewpoints.
The book’s visual strength is reinforced by photographer Paolo Giannotti’s stunning art photos across roughly 1,000 pages. Giannotti’s lens captures not only monumental murals but also the fleeting details and context that make London one of the world’s most influential street art capitals.

More Than a Book: Guidance and Critique
As Seen on the Streets of London offers readers a multilayered experience: a historical introduction to London’s graffiti movement, personal recommendations for must-see neighborhoods and murals, and stories revealing the inspiration and intent behind the artworks. The book is a powerful manifesto showing how individuals outside traditional publishing networks can carve out a place in an artistic movement. As Nuart Festival founder Martyn Reed puts it, this book is “written from the soul” and honors the core principles of street art as a democratized form of public art that offers an alternative to conventional power structures.
The book is available in two formats for easy carrying: a large-format Hardcover Edition printed on the highest-quality paper to showcase the vivid details of the photos, and a lighter, compact Paperback Guide you can take along while exploring London’s streets.
