Casa Botter, one of Istanbul’s historic landmarks, welcomes art enthusiasts with the Solo Botter: Burhan Uygur exhibition. Restored by İBB Heritage and reintroduced to Istiklal Avenue’s cultural and artistic scene, this venue hosts the fourth installment of the “Botter Exhibitions” series.
Curated by Levent Çalıkoğlu, with İrem Büşra Coşkun as assistant curator, the exhibition offers a comprehensive look at the artistic practice of master painter Burhan Uygur, who passed away in 1992. It showcases the bridge he built between memories and emotions in his paintings and his approach to transforming every moment of life into art.
