There are just a few days left until the 14th edition of Frieze Sculpture, curated by Fatoş Üstek

If you love taking autumn walks in London, The Regent’s Park is turning into an open-air gallery once again this year. The eagerly anticipated annual Frieze Sculpture invites art lovers to a free discovery among the park’s greenery with its 14th edition, running from September 16 to November 1, 2026.

Curated by Fatoş Üstek for her fourth consecutive year, the exhibition brings together works by 11 international artists in the park’s historic English Gardens section. Remaining open for seven weeks, the exhibition coincides with the Frieze London and Frieze Masters fairs taking place between October 14 and 18, while also serving as a major highlight of London Sculpture Week from September 19 to 27.

Hybrid Narratives on the Grass

The main backbone of this year’s featured works centers around the concept of “hybridity.” Rather than standing as isolated sculptures, the artworks create an interactive network where materials, stories, and communities connect with nature. Some of the standout pieces you can encounter while strolling through the park include:

• Angel Otero: Presents a threshold/door installation opening down beneath the park’s grass.
• Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran: Features a striking, double-faced idol sculpture (Warrior Figure) marked by vivid colors.
• Ivana Bašić: Exhibits a powerful and brutalist monument sculpture.
• Tarini Sethi: Guest-stars in the park with detailed utopian scenes worked onto stainless steel.
• Elena Nemkova: Joins the selection with her new piece Agony in the Garden (2026), winner of the Mtec Bursary.
• Other Artists: The roster also includes Özlem Günyol & Mustafa Kunt, Conrad Shawcross, Douglas White, Carolina Aguirre, Matyáš Chochola, and Catriona Robertson.
