As the clocks hit 18:00 on Thursday evening, September 10, the streets of Berlin take on much more than a typical autumn chill. Taking place as part of Berlin Art Week 2026, Gallery Night by Gallery Weekend Berlin transforms the city into a giant contemporary art map as a total of 54 galleries open their doors simultaneously.
Shuttling between galleries spread across different axes of the city—from Mitte to Charlottenburg, and Kreuzberg to Neukölln—offers the chance to view the work of established masters alongside the fresh productions of young practices all in a single night. Following the mass opening on Thursday evening, the exhibitions remain open to visitors throughout the weekend.
