Chris Evans has finally broken his silence about the long-rumored Avengers: Doomsday. The actor, synonymous with the role of Captain America, confirmed that he will not be appearing in the film. In an interview with ScreenRant, Evans remarked, “I feel like I wasn’t invited to the party,” though he added that he’s still in touch with the Marvel team. His statement has reignited fan theories about a possible surprise return of his character in future projects.

The new Avengers film will feature familiar faces like Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, and Anthony Mackie, alongside a new generation of heroes played by Florence Pugh, Simu Liu, and Pedro Pascal. Avengers: Doomsday, now postponed to 2026, will also mark a major twist: Robert Downey Jr., known for his role as Iron Man, will appear as the villain Doctor Doom. Following the Jonathan Majors controversy, the film has shifted direction and title from The Kang Dynasty to embark on a completely new narrative path.
