Leigh-Anne from Little Mix Unveils “Euphoric” New Single, ‘Burning Up’

August 26, 20252 min read

Former Little Mix member Leigh-Anne has released her latest solo track titled ‘Burning Up.’ You can listen to it below.

This vibrant, sultry song perfectly captures the exhilarating rush of love and freedom, drawing on Leigh-Anne’s Caribbean roots. With thumping drums and distinctive, layered vocals, the track radiates energy.

“‘Burning Up’ was born at a writing camp in New York, where I collaborated with some of the most inspiring writers and producers I’ve ever worked with. We approached it with no rules—just vibes and instinct,” she shared.

“The beat hit me like a wave; it felt euphoric and high-energy, yet there was an underlying emotion that made it more than just a party anthem.”

Leigh-Anne added, “I experimented with my voice in ways I’ve never done before, exploring different textures and pushing my range. It really challenged me as an artist, and I believe you can sense that in this track.”

The single was produced by Elijah ‘GYW Eli’ Ross, who also worked on her previous release, ‘Been A Minute.’ Check it out above.

‘Burning Up’ was released just before Leigh-Anne performed at the Reading & Leeds Festival 2025 over the weekend.

“It’s so close! I’m thrilled to finally be able to say that! The album embodies everything I wanted it to be, blending the sounds I love with my unique Leigh-Anne pop style,” she explained.

“I’ve always aimed to find a balance between being Leigh-Anne the pop star and embracing the musical genres I adore, whether that’s reggae or R&B. It’s about merging those styles and putting my mark on them.”

Leigh-Anne’s recent singles are her first new music since her 2024 EP, ‘No Hard Feelings.’

Meanwhile, her former bandmate Perrie Edwards has announced her debut solo album, ‘Perrie,’ alongside her new single ‘If He Wanted To He Would.’ Jade Thirlwall is also set to release her first solo album, ‘THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!’ next month.
