Hayley Williams’ New Music Now Available on Streaming Platforms

August 1, 20252 min read

Neighbor, would you like me to read the news to you?

Hayley Williams has officially released her latest songs on popular streaming platforms—details below!

Earlier this week, Williams surprise-released an album titled Ego on her website, featuring 17 tracks, including the single “Mirtazapine,” which debuted on a Nashville radio station just last week.

Within just two days of the surprise album launch, the record was promptly removed from her website. The page was briefly updated to include a simple message: “Hello, there. Thank you for listening.”

Now, all 17 tracks have been made available across major streaming services, though interestingly, they are presented as standalone singles rather than under the Ego album title.

Check out some of the singles below.

This release marks the first new music from the Paramore frontwoman since she became an independent artist following the conclusion of her record deal with Warner/Atlantic.

Fans have eagerly analyzed the lyrics and themes, which have led to speculation about a potential split from Taylor York, the Paramore guitarist whom Williams confirmed she was dating in 2022. Neither Williams nor York has commented on the gossip surrounding their relationship.

Notably, this isn’t the first time Williams has ventured into untraditional album releases. Her previous solo project, Flowers for Vases / descansos, was announced with just a day’s notice back in February 2021.

Since then, she has collaborated with Turnstile and joined Moses Sumney for a sensual single titled “I Like It I Like It.” Additionally, Williams has been featured on David Byrne’s upcoming album, Everybody Laughs.

Check out the new tracks and stay tuned for more updates!
