The beloved Vikings universe expands with a brand-new series centered on one of Norway’s most controversial royal figures, Eric Bloodaxe. Titled Vikings: Bloodaxe, the series stars a surprising name: Xavier Molyneux.
Known from Australia’s The Bachelorette and recently gaining momentum in acting, Molyneux will embody a Viking warrior renowned for his ruthlessness, charisma, and political cunning. Eric Bloodaxe is not just a king but a complex figure etched in history as a dark leader who dethroned and even killed his own brothers. The series focuses on both his inner turmoil and his battles with the outside world.
Vikings: Bloodaxe is a co-production between Sagar Pictures Entertainment and Lionsgate, promising the same epic scenes and atmospheric intensity as its Vikings predecessors.
