Miley Cyrus Addresses Criticism After Fans Accuse Her of Ignoring Them

June 27, 20252 min read

Miley Cyrus has responded to criticism following viral footage that suggested she and Naomi Campbell were “ignoring” fans at her London signing event.

The incident occurred this past Saturday, June 21, during a celebration for her single “Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved” at Rough Trade in London. This track, featured on her latest album, Something Beautiful, includes a guest appearance by supermodel Naomi Campbell, who joined her to sign vinyl records.

After the event, some fans took to social media to express their disappointment, accusing the pair of being too focused on their own conversation to engage with those who had come to see them.

In response, Cyrus posted on Instagram, thanking attendees for their support. “I saw so many familiar faces and met some lovely new ones,” she wrote. “The record store requested no photos due to an unexpected turnout, but we knew the night deserved to be captured… To everyone who came out to celebrate our single, we love you.”

Campbell also shared her perspective, seemingly defending Cyrus against the backlash. “Thank you for having me by your side to celebrate the vinyl release of ‘Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved’ in London,” she wrote, posting a series of photos and clips from the event. “It was a joy to spend the night with you in my hometown. Your energy is infectious, and the way you connect with our fans is incredible. I had such a great time.”

At a recent screening of the accompanying film, Cyrus faced heckling from fans who were expecting a concert, with some expressing their disappointment after paying significant ticket prices.
