Mums and dads, buckle up! This winter, we’re inviting you on a wonderful journey that will get the kids off screens, make them laugh, and gently teach them the beauty of sharing. The Maximum Uniq Box stage is hosting a riot of colour!
Would You Rather Be a King or a Clown?
Even before the play begins, it asks the big question: Would you rather be a lonely and unhappy king, or a clown who spreads happiness to everyone? The story follows a kind-hearted but starving clown who works for a cruel circus boss. When our poor clown faints from hunger, the heartless boss doesn’t just fire him—he takes the famous red nose, the very symbol of clowning, and hurls it far, far away!
Operation: Find the Lost Nose Begins!
Can a clown really be a clown without his nose? Of course not! And that’s exactly where the adventure starts. Our hero sets off on a quest to find his nose, and every encounter along the way gives the little audience members beautiful lessons about friendship, honesty, and solidarity.
Why You Should Go See This Play
This isn’t just a theatre performance—it’s a life lesson that helps children develop empathy. Written by Nilbanu Engindeniz and with artistic direction by Suha Uygur, this production captivates both children (and let’s be honest, us adults too) for 60 minutes with its music, costumes, and infectious energy.
