The enchanting encounter of shadow and light returns to Bursa! Karagöz, the symbol of Turkish shadow theater, opens its curtain for the 21st time in its birthplace. The 21st International Karagöz Puppet and Shadow Play Festival is being held from November 14–23, 2025, in collaboration with Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and organized by the Bursa Culture Art and Tourism Foundation (BKSTV).

🕯️ A UNESCO-Listed Treasure: Karagöz
Karagöz art, included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2009, will meet audiences during the festival in both traditional and contemporary interpretations.
