Ten years after its debut in 2015, Taskmaster is making a grand return for its landmark 20th season on Channel 4. Hosted by Greg Davies and Alex Horne, this beloved game show features five celebrities competing in various challenges, earning points based on creativity and execution. At the end of the season, one contestant will be crowned the Taskmaster champion.
Beyond the main show, Taskmaster has inspired several spin-offs, including Junior Taskmaster, New Year specials, and Champion of Champions. The show was renewed for a 21st season in March 2023, as part of a six-season deal, with the next installment expected to air in early 2026, following the conclusion of Season 20 on November 13, 2025.

Ania Magliano
Ania is a British comedian and writer, known for her appearances on shows like The Stand Up Sketch Show and The Comedy Guide To Life. She has co-hosted podcasts such as The Weekly Shop and If It Is To Be Said and has performed multiple shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, with her 2023 show, I Can’t Believe You’ve Done This, nominated for Best Show at the festival.
Phil Ellis
Hailing from Preston, Phil has been a prominent figure at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2013. His television credits include The Russell Howard Hour, Drunk History UK, Roast Battle, and Redknapp’s Big Night Out. He created and starred in the BBC Radio 4 sitcom Phil Ellis Is Trying, alongside Johnny Vegas.
Reece Shearsmith
Reece is an actor, comedian, and writer, best known for his work with The League Of Gentlemen. He has co-created popular shows like Psychoville and Inside No. 9 with Steve Pemberton. In addition to comedy, his dramatic roles include performances in Ben Wheatley’s A Field In England and ITV’s The Widower. More recently, he lent his voice to Norbot in Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.
Maisie Adam
Maisie is a stand-up comedian and writer, recognized for her appearances on The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year, Celebrity Mastermind, Mock The Week, The Last Leg, and 8 Out Of 10 Cats. A passionate football fan, she has participated in Soccer Aid for the past three years and co-hosts the women’s football podcast Big Kick Energy.
Sanjeev Bhaskar
Sanjeev gained fame through the comedy series Goodness Gracious Me and later starred in The Kumars at No. 42, which aired for seven seasons. His film and TV appearances include roles in Paddington 2, The Sandman, Good Omens, and Midsomer Murders.
