IVE is set to return this August, according to reports.
Starship Entertainment has seemingly confirmed the K-pop group’s plans for a comeback at the end of the month. In a statement, the agency shared, “IVE is preparing for a full-fledged comeback with the intention of releasing new music by the end of August.”
Details on the upcoming release are still under wraps, including the timeline for a new single and whether it will be a full album or a mini album.
The group recently released their Japanese single “Be Alright” on July 16, following their Korean mini-album “IVE Empathy,” which launched in February.
The mini-album features tracks like “Flu,” “Thank U,” “TKO,” and “You Wanna Cry,” the latter incorporating elements from Whitney Houston’s classic hit “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”
Most notably, IVE has recently performed at the main stages of the Lollapalooza festival in Berlin and Paris, becoming the first K-pop girl group to perform at three cities over two years at this iconic event.
