The dedicated team behind Elvis Evolution, the ultimate high-energy tribute to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, is finalizing preparations for the world’s first immersive experience, set to open on July 18, 2025, at Immerse LDN, Excel Waterfront.
Immersive entertainment company Layered Reality has been busy setting up intricate props within the state-of-the-art immersive sets, designed to transport fans through pivotal moments of Elvis Presley’s life and career, providing a true sense of what it was like to experience his era firsthand.
Recent photos and videos offer a sneak peek into the experience. Inside a meticulously recreated dressing room and the backstage studio from NBC where Elvis filmed his legendary 1968 Comeback Special, the team has positioned the singer’s iconic guitar, dusted off vintage photographs, set up record players, and arranged lyrics from some of his biggest hits. Meanwhile, cast members and musicians fine-tuned their performances while technicians tested out the special effects that bring this unique experience to life.
Jack Pirie, Director and Lead Creative at Elvis Evolution, expressed excitement as the opening day approaches: “With just days left until we launch, it’s incredible to see everything come together after months of hard work. Our goal is to present a fresh perspective on Elvis Presley that fans have never encountered before, delving into his life and music to explain why they resonate and remain significant today. Elvis enthusiasts are truly in for a treat when we open our doors on July 18th.”
Joining the team were 15-year-old Alexander Bayles and 13-year-old King J. Henry, who portray young Elvis and his best friend Sam Bell in specially recorded content for the experience. Both traveled from Memphis, Tennessee, eager to see themselves on the big screen.
Alexander, who closely resembles the young Elvis, shared his excitement: “I never expected to land the role given how iconic he is, and being able to portray him is unreal. When I got the callback and was finally cast, I was ecstatic… Seeing myself in Elvis Evolution made me realize I did it!”
King J. Henry, who plays young Sam Bell, added, “It’s amazing to tour the venue and finally see ourselves in the film we shot in Tupelo, Elvis’ birthplace. We can’t wait to hear the fans’ reactions!”
Elvis Evolution features physical sets that dynamically transform, along with live actors and musicians, allowing guests to walk in Elvis’ blue suede shoes and experience his incredible rise to stardom like never before.
Using AI technology, the production has revitalized 60 years of footage, recreating previously unseen moments and giving fans an intimate glimpse of Elvis as both an artist and a person. The show includes a live performance of Elvis’ “If I Can Dream,” accompanied by musicians.
Tickets start at £68 plus fees, which grant access to the ‘All Shook Up’ After-Party. For tickets and more information, visit elvisevolution.com.
