Get ready to snap your fingers! Producers Katy Lipson of Aria Entertainment and John Stalker Productions, along with co-producers ADAMA Entertainment and Guy James, are excited to unveil the first production images for the highly anticipated UK tour of The Addams Family: The Musical Comedy. These eerie yet charming new visuals provide a sneak peek into the show’s delightful spookiness, just as the entire cast for the tour has been announced.
Based on Charles Addams’ iconic characters, this uproarious and macabre musical features a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice (known for Jersey Boys) and music and lyrics by Tony Award-nominated Andrew Lippa. The story centers around Wednesday Addams, the quintessential princess of darkness, who faces the shocking dilemma of falling in love with a wholesome young man from a respectable family. Prepare for a fateful family dinner where hilarity ensues as two very different families collide.
Joining the already star-studded cast—including Alexandra Burke as Morticia Addams, Lesley Joseph as Grandma, Clive Rowe as Uncle Fester, and Ricardo Afonso as Gomez Addams—are several talented performers. Newly announced cast members include Jak Allen-Anderson (Lurch cover), Abigail Brodie (Morticia cover), JR Ballantyne (Gomez cover), Eamonn Cox (Mal and Fester cover), Siobhan Diffin (Alice/Grandma/Swing cover), Maria Garrett (Wednesday cover), Chloe Gentles (Pugsley cover), and Sario Solomon (Lucas cover).
With its heartwarming themes of love, family, and friendship— all tinged with a deliciously dark twist—The Addams Family is set to be a must-see production in the 2025 theatrical season. Directed by Matthew White and featuring choreography by Alistair David, the tour kicks off at the Birmingham Hippodrome from July 10-12, 2025, before continuing to stages at Curve, Leicester (July 15 – August 10), Lowry, Salford (August 12-16), Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury (August 19-23), and Blackpool Opera House (August 26-30).
Fans can now enjoy their first glimpse of this iconic family’s stage presence, setting the stage for a kooky and unforgettable theatrical adventure!
