Hailing from southern Austria, Velvet Wasted is a four-piece modern rock band. Their songs, which fluidly shift between genres, focus on life’s contrasts and yin-yang themes. Based in Graz, Max, Sandro, Jonas, and Anthony explore matters of the heart and soul through their music. It’s all about savoring the moment, celebrating individuality, and chasing your dreams. Formed in 2020, the band has sustained their music passion for music in recent years, releasing several recordings. New releases are anticipated for 2024.
Despite the pandemic, the young band continued to deliver electrifying live performances in major cities across Austria and Germany, earning airplay on various radio stations, including FM4. FM4 likened Velvet Wasted to indie rock legends like Kings of Leon.
