Paul Banks Honors Iggy Pop: Two Covers for ‘Sister Midnight’ Film

Paul Banks, the frontman of the world-renowned indie rock band Interpol, has covered two melancholic Iggy Pop songs for the film “Sister Midnight.” The tracks, set to be featured in the soundtrack of the film directed by London-based Indian artist and filmmaker Karan Kandhari, are The Stooges’ 1973 songs “Raw Power” and “Sister Midnight.”

In a post shared on his Instagram account, Paul Banks commented on the songs, stating that covering them was a great pleasure for him. He added, “Thanks to all the incredible musicians who helped me and played on all these tracks! I’m proud to share them with you.”
