Arches London Bridge is currently hosting the largest exhibition in the UK dedicated to the iconic work of Gianni Versace, showcasing the designer’s vibrant legacy from the 1980s until his untimely death in 1997.
Originally launched in Berlin in 2018, the “Gianni Versace Retrospective” now showcases 450 remarkable pieces—ranging from clothing and sketches to perfumes and photographs. Among the items are many worn by British cultural icons such as Princess Diana, Elton John, Kate Moss, and the late US rapper Tupac Shakur.
The exhibition emphasizes Versace’s enduring impact on celebrity culture, notable fashion partnerships, and the distinctive pieces that characterized the ‘90s.
“We can now reflect on how influential his designs were in shaping not only the aesthetics of the ’90s but also how he redefined celebrity engagement, collaborations, and fashion as an art form,” said Liz Koravos, managing director of Arches London Bridge. “He was a craftsman and artist who brought celebrities into his world, setting the stage for collaborations as we know them today.”
You can visit the exhibition until 1 March 2026.
