July 5, 20252 min read

Members of The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Blink-182 shared the stage for an unforgettable performance at Black Sabbath’s final concert.

The momentous event, titled ‘Back To The Beginning,’ marks the last farewell for the legendary heavy metal band. Held at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5, this all-day extravaganza brings together some of the biggest names in rock, with Tom Morello from RATM taking the helm as musical director.

During the concert, Morello joined iconic musicians, including Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler on vocals, The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood and Extreme’s Nuno Bettencourt on guitar, Rudy Sarzo from Quiet Riot on bass, and Travis Barker from Blink-182 on drums. Together, they delivered an electrifying rendition of the classic blues track ‘Train Kept A Rollin’.

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith then filled in on drums as they transitioned to a medley featuring Aerosmith’s ‘Walk This Way’ and Led Zeppelin’s ‘Whole Lotta Love.’ Check out clips from this stellar performance below.

The lineup for this historic concert also features a host of rock heavyweights, including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Alice In Chains, Gojira, Anthrax, and the surviving members of Soundgarden, among others.

After not performing a full gig since 2018, Ozzy Osbourne has faced numerous health challenges, including surgeries and a battle with Parkinson’s disease. In a recent interview, he expressed excitement about making it to this final show, determined to give his all despite physical limitations. His wife, Sharon, emphasized that while his mobility may be affected, his voice remains strong, allowing him to thank fans for their unwavering support.

This once-in-a-lifetime show is not to be missed!
