London-based band Sleepazoid, featuring vocalist and guitarist Nette France, bassist Josef Pabis, drummer/vocalist Luca Soprano, and guitarists George Inglis and Jim Duong, blends the raw energy of grunge with the atmospheric haze of shoegaze and the rhythmic drive of post-punk. Their 2024 album Running with the Dogs, self-recorded and produced, made waves in the independent music scene.

🔥 “NEW AGE” is one of the tracks that best encapsulates the band’s dark yet inviting world. Fuzz-drenched guitars merge with an almost hypnotic groove. The song’s title hints at a “new era”: a digital awakening, a spiritual threshold, or the jolting energy of a fresh start. Its chaotic yet captivating atmosphere pulls listeners in.

🔗  Apartment No: 26 Note:

The track fuses the noisy grandeur of Smashing Pumpkins with the dreamlike ambiance of Slowdive.

Listening, you might imagine yourself in a foggy industrial landscape, surrounded by flickering lights at a midnight concert.

If it were in a film, it would accompany a dystopian scene where a character is both lost and reborn.
