The World’s Finest Food Photography: “World Food Photography Awards” Exhibition in London!

September 6, 20252 min read

Food is more than just sustenance; it’s a culture that unites lives, tells stories, and fosters a sense of belonging. London’s Museum of the Home celebrates these universal stories with the World Food Photography Awards exhibition, sponsored by Tenderstem® Bimi® Broccolini. Running from June 3 to September 7, 2025, this exhibition showcases captivating food stories from around the globe through the lens of photography.

Connections Between Food and Home

The exhibition spans over 25 categories, capturing moments related to food—from cultivation to harvest, cooking to eating, celebration to survival. Employing diverse photography styles such as art, landscape, portrait, travel, and photojournalism, it demonstrates the vast range of ways food stories can be told. The displayed works range from photojournalistic pieces exposing the realities of food-related political issues to intimate snapshots of families’ daily meals and striking scenes captured solely with mobile phones.

This year, a global jury panel led by legendary food photographer David Loftus selected the finest works. The jury includes notable figures like the Museum’s Director Sonia Solicari, Jamie Oliver, and Claire Reichenbach. Highlighted award categories include prestigious honors such as Fortnum & Mason Food at the Table, The Jamie Oliver Youth Prize, and World Food Programme Food For Life.

Sparking New Dialogues Through Photography

Displayed at the Museum of the Home, these works use the power of photography to spark new conversations about the meaning of “home” in the past, present, and future. Visitors will connect with different cultures and stories through food while experiencing the universal language of photographic art. The exhibition highlights the aesthetic power of art while reminding us of food’s vital role in our social and personal lives.
