Master Peace has just dropped a vibrant new track, ‘Shake Me Down’, produced by the talented Dan Carey. The song features deep bass grooves that you can listen to below.
Recently, the South East London artist announced his previous single, ‘Harley’, styled with indie sleaze vibes, which was released through Speedy Wunderground—the label led by the acclaimed producer Carey, known for his work with acts like Wet Leg and Squid.
Now, alongside ‘Harley’, Master Peace presents the second half of this double A-side single. ‘Shake Me Down’ stands out as a more expansive indie dance tune, filled with dynamic guitars and lively synth melodies.

Master Peace has been making waves lately, including a standout guest appearance with Franz Ferdinand at Glastonbury, where they performed the track ‘Hooked’, and also featuring on the new Also Tracey album, ‘Don’t Die Before You’re Dead’.
His debut album, ‘How To Make A Master Peace’, released last year, earned him an Ivor Novello Rising Star award. Since then, he collaborated with Franz Ferdinand, contributing to their latest album, ‘The Human Fear’.
Being a longtime fan of Franz Ferdinand, he revealed, “I’ve always wanted to collaborate with them since I started making indie music. I just begged my manager.”
Looking ahead, Master Peace shared his intentions for his upcoming second album, aiming to “go wild” and delve deeper into indie sleaze. “To make a masterpiece, you need to be your authentic self and not worry too much about others’ opinions,” he said. “I’m bringing indie back, 100 percent!”
