June 13, 20253 min read

Twenty One Pilots have just released a brand-new single titled “The Contract.” Give it a listen below!

This track serves as the first glimpse of the duo’s upcoming eighth studio album, ‘Breach’, set to drop this September.

The song continues the narrative established in their 2015 album, ‘Blurryface’, and further explored in their seventh album, ‘Clancy’, released in 2024. The final track of “Clancy,” titled “Paladin Strait,” includes the line “Hello, Clancy,” which sets the stage for “The Contract.”

Additionally, the band has announced a North American headlining tour called “The Clancy Tour: Breach.” They will be performing in cities like Toronto, Milwaukee, Hartford, Virginia Beach, Tampa, Dallas, Los Angeles, and more throughout September and October.

While an exact release date for ‘Breach’ is still pending, fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival.

Last month, Twenty One Pilots wrapped up their extensive “Clancy” world tour with two sold-out shows at The O2 in London. Earlier during the tour, after a concert in Manchester, fans united to recover a stolen drum.

“Clancy” reached Number Two on the UK charts. In a three-star review, NME commented, “The record excels when it embraces genuine experimentation, especially with the intricate sounds of ‘Lavish.’ Otherwise, ‘Clancy’ often feels like the band is stuck in a rut, caught between colorful conceptual ambitions and a more subdued musical backdrop.”
