Berlin is hosting filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts from around the world with the 41st Interfilm International Short Film Festival, taking place from 4–9 November 2025. Celebrating its 41st year, this well-established festival brings together the most exciting short films in the cinema world, introducing new themes and bold programs to audiences.
Interfilm is known as a discovery hub for experimental forms, political messages, and original stories. The fact that films winning awards in the International Competition are eligible to compete for the Oscars® increases the festival’s prestige and international significance.

KUKI Festival: Interfilm’s children’s and youth film section, the KUKI Festival, continues throughout the year with a separate program.
