Taylor Swift has officially announced her new album titled ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’. Read on for more details.
Swift’s announcement follows a mysterious countdown clock that appeared on her website, which concluded at 12:12 AM ET on August 12. When the clock reached zero, it unveiled three pre-order options: a vinyl, a cassette, and a CD bundled with a poster. You can pre-order your copy here.
The title of the album was also confirmed during an episode of the New Heights podcast. While the release date and cover art have not yet been revealed, fans can expect their pre-orders to ship before October 13, 2025.

Though no specifics about singles or the tracklist have been shared, speculation surrounding the album had begun in May when Swift gained full control over her music catalog after buying back her final masters from Shamrock Holdings. Fans were particularly intrigued by a lyric referencing the number 12, hinting at a connection to her previous album, The Tortured Poets Department.
Additionally, Swift is set to make her debut appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights, which will air on August 13. Despite being together since 2023, this will mark her first time on his show.
In 2024, Kelce surprised Swift on stage at Wembley Stadium, showcasing their unique bond as he dressed as one of her backing dancers.
Swift has also shown unwavering support for Kelce during his Super Bowl appearances, which contributed to the event becoming the most-watched broadcast in U.S. television history since the moon landing in 1969.
