This summer, grab your coffee, settle in, and get ready to laugh your way through love, deception, and a bit of chaos. The Constellation Players are reimagining Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing with a playful nod to the beloved 90s sitcom format.

Part of the 2025 Camden Fringe programme, this production will take place on the 26th and 27th of August at 7:30 PM at the Bridewell Theatre in Blackfriars. Tickets are available now!

Set in the bustling atmosphere of Leonato’s café, this modern retelling follows six close friends as their romantic misadventures and clever schemes unfold with wit and warmth. Watch as Claudio and Hero navigate their true love, Beatrice and Benedick engage in a witty war of words, and Margaret and Don Pedro get caught up in everyone else’s drama.

Under the direction of award-winning Madison Cole, whose previous three productions were transferred to London stages, the cast features talented performers with impressive credentials, including appearances at the Cannes Film Festival, Apple TV, Jermyn Street Theatre, Birmingham Rep, and the American Drama Group.

This marks the third major production for the Constellation Players, following their innovative interpretations of Venus and Adonis and Julius Caesar. Known for their creative, streamlined adaptations, the company transforms expansive classical texts into engaging, fast-paced performances delivered by a dynamic small cast.
