Ozzy Osbourne recently took the stage for an emotional final solo performance ahead of Black Sabbath’s farewell concert—check out the footage below.

The monumental event, titled ‘Back To The Beginning’, is set to be the last hurrah for Osbourne’s legendary heavy metal band. Taking place at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5, the all-day festival features an extraordinary lineup with Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello serving as the musical director.

Before Black Sabbath’s set, Ozzy ascended from below the stage on a grand winged throne, captivating the audience as he kicked off with ‘I Don’t Know’ and ‘Mr. Crowley’ from his iconic 1980 album, ‘Blizzard Of Ozz’.

“It’s incredible to be on this stage—I can’t tell you how good it feels,” he declared, energizing the massive crowd. “Let the madness begin!” He concluded his set with the timeless hits ‘Mama, I’m Coming Home’ and ‘Crazy Train’, the anthem that plays before every Aston Villa match at Villa Park.
