Oasis Distributes T-Shirts and Live Streams ‘Gallagher Hill’ Crowd at Heaton Park Finale

July 21, 20252 min read

Oasis wrapped up their final homecoming show at Heaton Park tonight (July 20), distributing t-shirts and live streaming the audience gathered on ‘Gallagher Hill.’

On the previous evening (July 19), Liam Gallagher dedicated the classic track ‘Bring It On Down’ from Definitely Maybe to the fans on the mound, despite efforts by Manchester City Council to barricade the area earlier that week.

This evening, fans were spotted wearing ‘Gallagher Hill’ t-shirts reportedly sent out by the frontman himself, as noted by the Manchester Evening News.

Sisters Claire and Kerri Davis shared their experience of receiving shirts from a man in a golf buggy. “He seemed official and said, ‘They’re from Liam, but I only have a thousand,’” Kerri recalled.

Anaïs Gallagher also mentioned the t-shirts being given out on her Instagram Stories.

As the show commenced, Liam once again dedicated ‘Bring It On Down’ to the “folks on the hill.” When the crowd prepared to join in the Poznan for ‘Cigarettes And Alcohol,’ the band zoomed in on ‘Gallagher Hill’ via the stage’s large screens, with Liam exclaiming: “We’re going live to fucking ‘Gallagher Hill.’”

Online footage captured large crowds gathering despite prior warnings to stay away.

Throughout the performance, both Liam and Noel Gallagher expressed gratitude towards their fans. “For the past ten days, the eyes of the world have been on Manchester. I just want to say to all Mancunians, you’ve done yourselves proud. We’ve got people coming in from all over the globe. It’s clear you’ve still got it, Manchester,” Noel remarked.

Liam added, “It’s been incredible to be here these last ten days. You’ve completely blown my mind. All I can say is I love you, I adore you; thank you for making this happen.”

Oasis is set to take their tour to Wembley Stadium for a series of shows beginning next Friday (July 25).
