Oasis is gearing up for its highly anticipated Manchester shows as part of the Live ’25 tour, kicking off tomorrow, July 11. Fans in the city can look forward to hearing Liam Gallagher’s voice as he announces tram stops on the Metrolink system.
The Gallagher brothers recently launched their tour in Cardiff, marking their first live performances together in 16 years. They thrilled audiences with special guests, including Cast and Richard Ashcroft.
Now, they’ll return to Manchester for a series of homecoming gigs at Heaton Park, performing to approximately 80,000 fans each night on July 11, 12, 16, 19, and 20.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Liam’s distinct announcements will be played at the Heaton Park tram stop during all concert dates. He humorously declares, “The next stop is…. Heaton Parrrk,” before concluding with, “Off you go.”
Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham expressed excitement about the reunion, stating, “Our city-region is set to host the most awaited homecoming ever, and the buzz is growing.” He added, “It’s fantastic that Liam is lending his iconic voice to the Bee Network again—listen out for him when you arrive at Heaton Park.”
This isn’t Liam’s first time making tram announcements; he surprised fans earlier this year during celebrations for the Bee Network, Greater Manchester’s integrated public transport system.
For those attending the gigs, Cast will take the stage at 6 PM, followed by Richard Ashcroft at 7 PM, with Oasis headlining at 8:15 PM until a 10:30 PM curfew.
Stage Schedule:
- Doors Open: 3 PM
- Cast: 6 PM
- Richard Ashcroft: 7 PM
- Oasis: 8:15 PM
- Event Ends: 10:30 PM
Weather forecasts for the first two shows on July 11 and 12 predict warm and sunny conditions, with temperatures around 30°C. The following shows may see some light rain, but warm weather is expected throughout.
Following their five Manchester shows, Oasis will continue their tour with a week at Wembley Stadium before heading to Edinburgh, Dublin, and then on to North America, South America, Australia, South Korea, and Japan.
