Exciting UK Tour of To Kill A Mockingbird Features Richard Coyle as Atticus Finch

The full cast has been unveiled for the inaugural UK and Ireland tour of Aaron Sorkin’s captivating stage adaptation of Harper Lee’s classic novel, To Kill a Mockingbird. This powerful story, which explores themes of racial injustice and childhood innocence, has captivated audiences on both Broadway and the West End.

Richard Coyle, an acclaimed actor known for his roles in The Player Kings, Macbeth, and Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore, will reprise his critically praised portrayal of Atticus Finch from the 2022 West End production.

Joining Coyle on stage will be Anna Munden as Scout Finch, Gabriel Scott as Jem Finch, Dylan Malyn as Dill Harris, Andrea Davy as Calpurnia, Stephen Boxer as Judge Taylor, Aaron Shosanya as Tom Robinson, Oscar Pearce as Bob Ewell, Evie Hargreaves as Mayella Ewell, Richard Dempsey as Horace Gilmer, Sarah Finigan as Mrs. Dubose, Phillipa Flynn as Miss Stephanie/Dill’s Mother, Harry Attwell as Mr. Cunningham/Boo Radley, Colin R Campbell as Sheriff Heck Tate, and Simon Hepworth as Link Deas. Additional cast members include Paul Albertson, James Mitchell, Jonathan Rubin, Cheryl Burniston, Charlotte Luxford, Oyin Orija, Tiwai Muza, Tom Brace-Jenkins, and John J. O’Hagan.

The tour will kick off at Leeds Playhouse, where the production runs from September 8 to October 4, 2025. Following Leeds, the show will travel to locations including Nottingham, Edinburgh, Leicester, Glasgow, Bath, Cardiff, Eastbourne, Salford, Sheffield, Dublin, Belfast, Plymouth, Canterbury, Southampton, Birmingham, Newcastle, Norwich, Liverpool, and Milton Keynes.

Set in 1934 Alabama, To Kill a Mockingbird draws inspiration from Harper Lee’s own childhood experiences and has sold over 45 million copies globally. It garnered the Pulitzer Prize for Literature and has frequently appeared on banned book lists.

Sorkin’s stage adaptation is brought to life under the innovative direction of Bartlett Sher, known for his work on acclaimed productions such as My Fair Lady, The King and I, and South Pacific.

Aaron Sorkin, renowned for his screenwriting accolades, including an Academy Award for The Social Network, and the hit TV series The West Wing, is at the helm of this significant adaptation.

The creative team includes Louisa Muller (Associate Director), Miriam Buether (Set Designer), Ed Pierce (Design Supervisor), Ann Roth (Costume Designer), Jennifer Tipton (Lighting Designer), Scott Lehrer (Sound Designer), Adam Guettel (Original Score), Kimberley Grigsby (Musical Supervisor), and many more.

The UK and Ireland tour of To Kill a Mockingbird is produced by Jonathan Church Theatre Productions in partnership with Karl Sydow and Tulchin Bartner and was originally staged on Broadway.
