Neighbor, would you like me to read the news to you?

The eagerly awaited world premiere of 13 GOING ON 30: THE MUSICAL is set to captivate audiences at the Manchester Opera House from September 21, 2025, for a limited engagement. Producers ROYO, Revolution Studios, Wendy Federman, Phil Kenny, and executive producer Jennifer Garner are excited to announce the addition of West End stars David Hunter and Grace Mouat, who will portray Matt Flamhaff and Lucy Wyman, respectively.

David Hunter, known for his standout performances in West End sensations such as Kinky Boots, Waitress (for which he received a Best Performer nomination), and Once, brings a wealth of experience to this production. He originated the role of Henry in The Time Traveller’s Wife: The Musical and can also be heard on its original cast recording.

Grace Mouat, a beloved performer from West End hits like SIX, & Juliet, and The Great British Bake-Off Musical, is sure to showcase her remarkable talent. This year, she received a WhatsOnStage Award nomination for Best Supporting Performer for her role as Karen in Mean Girls.

They join the previously announced Lucie Jones as Jenna Rink, along with a formidable cast that includes Caleb Roberts (Richard), Andrew Berlin (Kyle Grandy), Dominic Andersen (Alex), Ross Dawes (Wayne), Suzie McAdam (Bev), and Iván Fernández Gonzáles (Darius Mark). The ensemble also features an impressive mix of West End and touring performers, contributing to a vibrant and dynamic show. A group of promising young actors has also been revealed, adding further depth to the production.

Based on the beloved 2004 rom-com starring Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo, 13 GOING ON 30: THE MUSICAL follows the charming journey of Jenna Rink, an awkward 13-year-old who magically wakes up as a “thirty, flirty, and thriving” fashion magazine editor. As she navigates her new life, Jenna embarks on a journey of self-discovery, learning what truly matters.

With a score by Michael Weiner and Alan Zachary (known for First Date and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) and directed by the acclaimed Andy Fickman (of Heathers fame), this musical promises to encapsulate the heart and humor of the original film. The production features choreography by Jennifer Weber (& Juliet), set design by Colin Richmond, and a talented creative team bringing this exciting adaptation to life.

Ensure you don’t miss the chance to experience the world premiere of 13 GOING ON 30: THE MUSICAL at the Manchester Opera House from September 21 to October 12, 2025.
