The 14th Bursa International Photography Festival, themed “The City’s Objection,” is now bringing a special selection of its exhibition to Istanbul audiences after captivating art lovers in Bursa. Mecidiyeköy Sanat, a prominent art hub in Mecidiyeköy Square, is hosting this exhibition until September 14, 2025.
Curated by Laleper Aytek, who also serves as the festival’s curator, the exhibition features 58 works by 17 photographers who had solo exhibitions at the festival. Additionally, it showcases photographs from six young artists featured in the festival’s inaugural “Tribute to Youth” section, bringing their work to Istanbul.
The exhibition includes works by A. Nur Türk, Cem Ersavcı, Denef Huvaj, Dersu Saral, Dina Ogavona, Ece Nur Saygın, Emre Baykal, Gülbin Özdamar Akarçay, Murat Aslan, Mustafa Mesut Şık, Nur Sevim Başar, Reyhan Mente, Savaş Onur Şen, Sevil Alkan, Suzan Pektaş, Şafak Hacaloğlu, and Yasemin Çinal.
Carrying the spirit of the Bursa festival, which displayed over a thousand photographs across 10 different venues, “The City’s Objection” is open to visitors free of charge at Mecidiyeköy Sanat from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM every day except Monday.
