The upcoming stadium tour marks BLACKPINK’s first since their record-shattering ‘Born Pink World Tour,’ which ran from 2022 to 2023 and became the highest-grossing tour by a girl group, attracting over 1.8 million fans.
Since their last performances, all four members have pursued individual projects. Rosé, for instance, recently collaborated with Bruno Mars on the hit song ‘APT.,’ which has already surpassed one billion streams on Spotify, making it the fastest track by a K-pop artist to achieve that milestone. Prior to that, she released her solo album ‘rosie’ on December 6, complete with a music video for her single ‘toxic till the end’.
Lisa and Jennie have also unveiled their solo projects, while Jisoo debuted her solo EP, ‘Amortage’. Jennie’s album ‘Ruby’ received a four-star review from Crystal Bell at NME, highlighting her growth as an artist with a distinct sound and vision.
Lisa’s album ‘Alter Ego’ earned three stars, with Bell noting it as an ambitious first step in exploring her identity as a solo artist. Jisoo’s EP also received four stars, praised for its focus on her strengths without needing to reinvent herself. Rosé’s album ‘Rosie’ also garnered four stars, offering an intimate look at her journey of self-discovery.
