Alice Cooper Hopes for Lasting Oasis Reunion and Advises Brothers to Avoid Squabbles

July 21, 20252 min read

Alice Cooper has expressed his hope that Oasis’ current reunion tour endures and has shared some friendly advice for Liam and Noel Gallagher to keep the peace.

In recent performances, the Gallagher brothers walked on stage together, hand in hand, during their Cardiff shows and shared fist bumps at their recent homecoming concerts at Heaton Park.

In an interview with The Times, Cooper, who has also announced a special intimate show in London later this week, mentioned that he was pleased to hear that Liam and Noel had put their differences aside. “Oasis… Good luck to them. Hope it lasts,” he said. He added, “The trick is you don’t divorce; you just separate. Watching those brothers is so stressful. Don’t squabble, guys. Stress is a killer.”

The Britpop legends made a triumphant return to the stage earlier this month at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, playing to over 70,000 fans—their first performance together since their contentious split in 2009. Noel has acknowledged that Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs played a key role in bringing about the reunion.

At a recent concert in Heaton Park, Liam Gallagher dedicated the classic song “Bring It On Down” to fans who gathered at ‘Gallagher Hill.’

The show concluded with the two brothers celebrating their long-awaited reunion, despite the Manchester City Council’s attempts to discourage gatherings in the area. Nonetheless, numerous fans still came together, singing along to Oasis songs.

Meanwhile, Alice Cooper is set to perform a one-off concert at London’s Union Chapel on July 24, celebrating the reunion of his original band lineup, which includes Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith, and Michael Bruce. Remaining tickets are available for purchase, and the concert will also be streamed live on various platforms for those who can’t attend in person. This show precedes the release of his new album, The Revenge of Alice Cooper, due out the following day.
