We are turning our course away from Europe’s rainy capitals and New York’s vast museums once again toward the shining art destination of the East: Hong Kong. VILLEPIN is opening its doors to the captivating and serene world of Ted Gahl, one of the most striking painters of his generation.

“I included Ted’s first work in my collection in 2021, when Villepin was still a very young gallery. At the time I didn’t know him personally, but I had already fallen in love with his world. As I lived with this universe that drew me in without a single word spoken, I felt its quiet power more deeply. After our group exhibition in 2024, it is now an honour for me to dedicate a full solo exhibition to Ted.”
