Yves Tumor and NINA of Bar Italia have teamed up to release an enthralling new single titled “WE DON’T COUNT.” You can listen to it below.
Released today (July 30) under Warp Records, the track is accompanied by an artistic black and white music video.
This marks Yves Tumor’s first new release since their 2023 studio album, “Praise A Lord Who Chews But Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds).”
The collaboration showcases a compelling post-punk aesthetic characterized by deep bass lines and sharp guitar riffs. It weaves together hypnotic vocal melodies that blend both artists’ distinct styles into a refreshingly unique sound.
The atmospheric opening verse captures the essence of the song: “I don’t really like it (I feel like you do) / I don’t think you’ll win (we’re both losers too) / But you don’t really want to stop (You don’t have the will) / One day you might see too,” building toward an intense climax.

“WE DON’T COUNT” marks the pair’s first official collaboration, extending both artists’ discographies with influences from post-punk, rock, and alternative genres.
While this release follows Yves Tumor’s “Praise A Lord…,” NINA has also had a busy year, dropping singles “TWINK” and “Till the Devil Gets Bored,” alongside a collaborative EP titled “Discordia” with fellow Roman artist Orazio.
Most recently, NINA created the original score for her debut film, The Richest Man in Babylon, described by her team as a “disquieting meditation on the psychic and ecological fallout of modern austerity,” exploring themes of personal and systemic collapse with seduction, silence, and precision.
For Bar Italia, NINA and the group released their third studio album, Tracey Denim, in 2023.
