The Yeah Yeah Yeahs kicked off their highly anticipated theater tour in California on Tuesday. Check out the footage from the live show and their complete setlist below.
The “Hidden In Pieces Tour,” announced in March, celebrates the 25th anniversary of the iconic New York band. Fans can expect an exciting mix of rare tracks and fresh arrangements of beloved songs, with upcoming performances scheduled in London, Manchester, and Mexico City, alongside various stops across the U.S. in July. The opening concert took place at the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside, California, where the band performed ‘Little Shadow’ from their 2009 album It’s Blitz! for the first time ever. They also played ‘Mars’ from their latest album, Cool It Down, and the demo version of ‘Let Me Know,’ which was a B-side for the 2006 single ‘Gold Lion.’
In addition to their signature hits, the band covered Björk’s ‘Hyperballad.’ Classic tracks like ‘Maps,’ ‘Y Control,’ and ‘Zero’ were part of the thrilling setlist. Watch fan-recorded footage from the show here:

They continued, “In the spirit of the dearly departed David Lynch, ‘All you need to do is turn on the light and the darkness goes.’ We’ll be exploring our back catalog, performing rarely heard songs alongside fan favorites with fresh arrangements. Expect acoustic guitars and strings, too.”
