Travis Kelce has expressed his desire to DJ at future concerts for his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been dating Swift since the summer of 2023. The couple went public in September when she was spotted at a Chiefs game, enjoying time in the post-game suite with him.
Despite Swift wrapping up her massively successful ‘Eras World Tour’ last December, Kelce hasn’t hesitated to share his wish to hit the stage with her during her next tour. On a recent episode of his podcast, New Heights, he revealed his excitement about the idea.
Earlier this month, Kelce and his co-host (and brother) Jason Kelce welcomed basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal as a guest. O’Neal, who performs as DJ Diesel, suggested, “How crazy would it be for you to open up for your girlfriend? You’d be a star—just ten minutes getting the crowd hyped!”
To which Travis replied, “Come on, you know I’m a hype man. I’d have the Swifties bouncing off the walls before she hits the stage!”
Kelce has already made an appearance alongside Swift during the ‘Tortured Poets Department’ segment at one of her Wembley Stadium concerts in June 2024. He joyfully lifted Swift while dressed as one of her dancers, setting the vibe for her performance of “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.”
Swift has cheered on Kelce at the last two Super Bowls, contributing to the record-breaking viewership of the 2024 game, which became the most-watched broadcast in U.S. television history since 1969.
In addition to their relationship updates, Swift recently celebrated reclaiming the master recordings of her first six albums after a lengthy struggle, sharing her joy on Instagram. Her fans suspect she might be hinting at new music being on the horizon.
