Oasis- The Summer’s Hottest Guitar Release

August 21, 20253 min read

Noel Gallagher has unveiled a new Gibson Les Paul, crafted exclusively for the Oasis ‘Live 25’ tour. Here’s everything you need to know.

This distinctive, custom-built model made its debut when Noel stepped on stage in Cardiff to kick off Oasis’s comeback last month. Specifically tailored for these live performances, the Les Paul has been a staple at subsequent shows in Manchester, London, and Edinburgh, capturing the attention of guitar enthusiasts.

In an exciting development, Gallagher has partnered with Gibson to release a limited edition of these guitars, with each one accompanied by a unique lyric sheet, hand-written by the legendary guitarist and songwriter.

The guitar itself is a Gibson Custom Noel Gallagher Les Paul Standard, featuring a striking Ebony finish that has been gently aged by the Murphy Lab at the Gibson Custom Shop. It boasts nickel Gibson Custom P-90 pickups, Grover tuners, and Gallagher’s favorite SlimTaper neck profile.

Only 25 of these models will be available as a sought-after collector’s package, all personally signed by Gallagher. Each kit comes with a custom Gibson hardshell case, a handmade leather strap from Bear Straps, and a handwritten lyric sheet from a classic Oasis song, ensuring that no two guitars share the same lyrics.

Orders are limited to one guitar per person, and more details can be found at the Gibson Garage website once they go live on August 21.

This collaboration with Gibson follows Gallagher’s previous partnership with the renowned guitar manufacturer in February, where he created a limited-edition run of Gibson ’78 Les Paul Customs, with proceeds benefiting charity. In that venture, 20 signed models inspired by an original guitar given to him by Johnny Marr were sold, contributing to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The Gibson Garage in London, which opened a couple of years ago, is the first Gibson flagship store outside the U.S., following the launch of their Nashville location.

In other Oasis news, the band recently shared a live version of “Little By Little” recorded at London’s Wembley Stadium, continuing to release live tracks from each venue of their tour.

After a highly praised performance in Cardiff, Oasis is preparing to head to Dublin and soon after, embark on their North American tour. They will return to the UK for two final shows at Wembley in September, with plans also being made for a potential appearance in Italy.

As the tour progresses, they’ll also be heading to South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil later this year.
