London’s historic heart, Fleet Street, has this winter become home not only to journalists and lawyers but also to the world’s most beloved dog, Snoopy. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Peanuts comic strip, this free sculpture trail has transformed the Fleet Street Quarter into an open-air gallery. Stepping away from his usual black-and-white form, Snoopy has taken on entirely new identities in the hands of 12 different artists, embodying the Christmas spirit while perched atop his iconic kennel.

Featuring designs signed by artists such as Becky Smith and children’s book author Frann Preston-Gannon, Snoopy’s little red kennel sometimes becomes a gingerbread house, at other times a mysterious snow-covered forest. In one particularly charming design, Snoopy uses his kennel as a tiny reindeer stable, bringing unexpected joy and colour to London’s grey winter days. Delivered in partnership with “Wild in Art”—the organisation behind previous city-wide trails of colourful penguins and snowmen—this route has quickly become a favourite among Londoners and especially young city-dwellers.

The 12 Snoopy sculptures that have been adorning the corners of Fleet Street since 19 November 2025 will be saying goodbye to the city tomorrow, on 16 January 2026. With the “Snoopy in the City” map available on the Fleet Street website, grab a hot coffee, follow in the footsteps of this lovable beagle, and make the most of these final 24 hours for a short but magical winter wander through London’s side streets.
