Sadler’s Wells has announced an exhilarating lineup for its Autumn 2025 season, featuring world premieres, international talent, and the debut of the YFX Youth Festival. This initiative emphasizes the venue’s dedication to global storytelling and artistic innovation, with over 35,000 tickets priced at £25 or less, ensuring accessibility for a wide audience.
The season spotlights eight of Sadler’s Wells’ Associate Artists, including Crystal Pite, Akram Khan, Sharon Eyal, and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, alongside the distinguished International Associate Company, Acosta Danza, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary with UK premieres from Javier de Frutos and Goyo Montero.
Returning this autumn is the Composer Series, featuring Marking Time (20–22 Nov), inspired by Nico Muhly’s music, with choreography from Jules Cunningham, Michael Keegan-Dolan, and Maud Le Pladec. Other notable events include the UK premiere of Mimi’s Shebeen by Alesandra Seutin (22–24 Oct), which explores the life of South African legend Miriam Makeba, and Thikra: Night of Remembering (28 Oct–1 Nov), Akram Khan’s all-female dance tribute to memory and identity.
Sadler’s Wells East will host The Machine of Horizontal Dreams (16–18 Oct), a provocative installation by Pepa Ubera that challenges conventional Western notions of progress. Additionally, Hofesh Shechter’s Theatre of Dreams (15–18 Oct) and the Olivier Award-winning Sutra will return due to popular demand.
Launching in July 2025, the new YFX Youth Festival celebrates the vibrant youth dance scene in the UK, in collaboration with One Dance UK, showcasing performances from national youth dance companies, emerging choreographers, and regional youth groups.
The upcoming season will also introduce a new wave of talent, including Ballet Black, Andrea Peña, Armin Hokmi, Copenhagen Collective, Yewande 103, and viral sensation Sadeck Berrabah with his precision-driven work Murmuration Level 2 (10–20 Sept).
Looking ahead to March 2026, music legend Chaka Khan will be honored in I’m Every Woman, a new stage musical premiering at the Peacock Theatre (5–28 Mar), directed by Racky Plews.
Tickets will go on sale on May 12 for members, with general sales starting May 19, 2025.
