Oasis has shared snippets from their soundcheck in Cardiff, giving fans a sneak peek ahead of the highly anticipated Live ’25 reunion tour. The audio recordings have made their rounds on social media, so be sure to check them out below.
The massive comeback tour kicks off on Friday night (July 4) at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, marking the first of 19 shows across the UK and Ireland. The band will be joined by special guests Richard Ashcroft and Cast.
Recently, fans uploaded clips from the soundcheck, with one user, Conor Gogarty, sharing a distant recording from the stadium. He commented, “Oasis soundcheck in Cardiff just now @liamgallagher sounding biblical.” The clip features a muffled version of Liam Gallagher performing “Cigarettes & Alcohol” through the stadium speakers.
In a second clip, captured by Gavin Allen just outside the venue, the audio quality improved significantly. He exclaimed, “THEY’RE IN THERE!!! @liamgallagher and @oasis are testing @principalitysta speakers in Cardiff and they are LOUD.”
Liam Gallagher humorously responded to one of the clips, critiquing his own vocals: “Mmm, I’m not sure about the vocals there too aggressive he really needs to take a chill pill.”
The discussions among fans have sparked a debate about whether the band was actually present at the soundcheck or if it was a pre-recorded track. Liam later cleared up the confusion, stating, “It’s definitely a recording from rehearsals unless there’s 2 of me which I’m absolutely 1 million percent here for.”
As the tour approaches, Liam announced that the opening show will start at 8:15 PM, urging fans not to be late. Oasis’s UK and Ireland leg includes seven dates at London’s Wembley Stadium, followed by shows in Canada, the US, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, totaling 41 performances until November 23 in São Paulo.
Additionally, the band hinted that more tickets could be released soon, making it possible for more fans to join this exciting reunion. In a fun twist, Aldi has even renamed a Manchester store “Aldeh” to celebrate the upcoming tour, complete with ‘90s-inspired merchandise.
In other news, the Gallagher brothers recently appeared together in a commercial for Adidas Originals, which received mixed reviews. Liam responded to critics, stating, “Oasis don’t discriminate.”
For those interested in Live ‘25 merchandise, fans are encouraged to pre-book their spots at the pop-up stores to avoid long queues. Moreover, Liam addressed reports that the crew had not been given tickets to the reunion tour, humorously noting they “don’t have friends.”
