Murder on the Orient Express is one of Agatha Christie’s most celebrated works, renowned for its gripping final twist. Set in the winter of 1934, the story unfolds when an avalanche halts the train. An American tycoon is found murdered in his compartment, with eight stab wounds and the door locked from the inside. Trapped in the snow with a killer on board, can the world’s most famous detective, Hercule Poirot, solve the mystery before the train reaches its destination?
This production is directed by Lucy Bailey (known for Witness for the Prosecution, And Then There Were None, and The Other Boleyn Girl) and features design work by Mike Britton, lighting by Oliver Fenwick, video by Ian Galloway, sound by Mic Pool, movement direction by Leah Hausman, casting by Abby Galvin, and assistant direction by Victoria Gartner.
