Organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), the 32nd Istanbul Jazz Festival will host Max Richter, a composer with a unique place in the hearts of listeners through his distinctive musical universe, as he performs for the first time in front of Istanbul audiences.
Taking place from July 1 to 17, the 32nd Istanbul Jazz Festival will bring together world-renowned jazz artists and contemporary music stars. Among them is Max Richter, who has created an innovative genre by blending classical music with electronic elements. As part of the festival, a talk titled “Max Richter’s Music and Music Design from Cinema to Contemporary Art” will explore Richter’s work, film score production, and its intersections with contemporary art. The talk is scheduled for May 30 at Metrohan. Max Richter’s concert will take place on Thursday, July 3, at 9:00 PM at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theatre.
