Maria Bartuszová: “The Butterfly Effect” Exhibition in London Explores Destruction and Hope

Sculptor Maria Bartuszová offers an answer in her words from 1987–88: “The fragility of my existence and the brevity of my strength foster my hope in the significance and meaning of everything (including my own existence), and the resulting optimism of the ‘Butterfly Effect.’” This optimism takes form in her exhibition The Butterfly Effect at Alison Jacques gallery.
