Last night, the dynamic global pop group from the creative alliance of HYBE and Geffen made their MTV VMAs debut, showcasing two captivating performances during the pre-show. They kicked off the event with their blockbuster hit ‘Gnarly.
Later, KATSEYE took the stage again to perform ‘Gabriela.’ This marked a significant moment as the group explored their members’ diverse heritages, featuring Daniela delivering a verse in Spanish for the first time.
During the main award ceremony, KATSEYE earned their first-ever VMA, winning the MTV Push Performance of the Year award for their track ‘Touch.’ In an emotional acceptance speech, Lara expressed her gratitude, saying, “This is so surreal. We’re incredibly thankful—this moment means everything after all we’ve been through together.”
Sophia added, “Thank you to our EYEKONS; we owe this to you. Your belief in us means the world.”
