Amazon MGM has officially announced preparations for the next James Bond film. Revealed at CinemaCon 2025, the studio confirmed that 007 will return with a “fresh and exotic” installment, led by producers Amy Pascal, known for Spider-Man: No Way Home, and David Heyman, of the Harry Potter series. Currently in London, Pascal and Heyman have begun developing the project, aiming to craft a new adventure while preserving the essence of the iconic character.
Following Daniel Craig’s departure from the role after 2021’s No Time to Die, a new lead actor for Bond has yet to be chosen. Industry rumors suggest Amazon may opt for a younger Bond, potentially setting the story in the 1950s or 60s. The goal is to stay true to the classic Bond atmosphere while appealing to a modern, younger audience. Although no release date has been announced, developments at CinemaCon indicate the project is gaining momentum.
