Neighbor, would you like me to read the news to you?

This August, social media influencer and YouTuber Olivia Cordell, known for her roles in “Grown-ish” and “Dead Best Friend,” will premiere her solo show, “Bog Body,” at the Camden Fringe. This marks Cordell’s first solo production as well as her UK debut.

“Bog Body” will kick off its fringe tour at Barons Court Theatre as part of the Camden Fringe, and will also be featured at The Glitch for the Lambeth Fringe and at the Etcetera Theatre for the Camden Horror Festival.

“We’re witnessing a horror renaissance in both film and theatre,” says Olivia Cordell, creator and performer of “Bog Body.” “We can’t wait to see how the elements of Fringe theatre—space, technical features, script, and performance—come together to create a genuinely terrifying experience. Thanks to the support of Arts Council England, we’re excited to bring this project to life, complete with a robotic bog body.”

About the Show
“Bog Body” is an immersive, interactive performance that follows a forensic anthropologist as she investigates a set of supposedly-haunted remains found in an Irish bog. Bog bodies are a fascinating phenomenon; hundreds of remarkably preserved prehistoric remains have been uncovered in northern Europe, some dating back thousands of years. Join Dr. Alyssa Kim in this gripping presentation that promises laughter, tears, and screams as she faces a supernatural foe and her deepest fears.

Olivia Cordell, who goes by @theprincessliv, is recognized for her horror-themed content and boasts a robust online following—130,000 on TikTok and 30,000 subscribers on YouTube. Her web series “Dead Best Friend” attracted over a million views and led to a successful merchandise line. You may have seen her appearances on U.S. shows like Disney’s “Grown-ish,” the hit children’s program “The SuperPops,” or hosting events for FrightFest UK and other film festivals. Olivia’s horror screenplay “Between” was a finalist for the prestigious 2024 Sitges WomanInFan residency, and her project “Lifeblood” was selected for the 2024 B3 HessenLab development program in Germany. She studied the Business of Film at the University of Westminster in association with the British Film Institute.
