Full Cast Revealed for Tracy Letts’ Mary Page Marlowe at The Old Vic

The Old Vic has announced the complete cast and creative team for the UK premiere of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts’ Mary Page Marlowe. Under the direction of Artistic Director Matthew Warchus, the production will run from September 23 to November 1, with the press night scheduled for October 8.

In just 90 minutes, spanning 70 years and 11 scenes, Mary Page Marlowe presents a captivating, non-linear exploration of one woman’s extraordinary life.

Joining the previously announced Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon (Dead Man Walking, Thelma & Louise) and Academy Award nominee Andrea Riseborough (To Leslie, Matilda the Musical), the cast includes:

  • Daniella Arthur-Kennedy (making her professional stage debut) as Lorna
  • Eden Epstein (Leopoldstadt, Broadway) as Roberta Marlowe
  • Clare Hughes (Ladies in Black) as Wendy Gilbert
  • Gilbert Kyem Jnr (Rivals) as Ben
  • Melanie La Barrie (Hadestown, West End) as Nurse
  • Rosy McEwen (Blue Jean) as Mary Page Marlowe
  • Kingsley Morton (The Addams Family, UK Tour) as Connie
  • Hugh Quarshie (Star Wars: The Phantom Menace) as Andy
  • Ronan Raftery (Obituary) as Dan
  • Paul Thornley (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, West End/Broadway) as Ray
  • Lauren Ward (Matilda the Musical, West End/Broadway) as Shrink
  • Noah Weatherby (Too Much) as Ed Marlowe
  • Alisha Weir (Matilda the Musical) and Eleanor Worthington-Cox (Next to Normal, West End) will share the role of Mary Page Marlowe
  • The character of Louis will be played by Felix Anderson, Griffin Ashton, and Dexter Pulling.

The creative team includes Rob Howell for Set & Costume Design, Hugh Vanstone for Lighting, Simon Baker for Sound, and casting by Jim Carnahan CSA and Sam Stevenson CDG. Additional roles in the creative team involve Children’s Casting by Amy Beadel CDG, Dialect coaching by Penny Dyer, and Voice coaching by Charlie Hughes D’Aeth. Lilac Yosiphon serves as Associate Director, with Emma Laxton in Associate Sound, Lucy Gaiger for Associate Costume, and Campbell Young Associates overseeing Wigs, Hair, and Make-Up.
