Franz Ferdinand has revealed plans for a new tour set for 2026, covering both the UK and Europe. Read on for all the details.
The announcement comes just ahead of their performance at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival next week, as well as several other major summer festivals, including Valley Of The Arts, Tramlines, Y Not, and the Boardmasters Festival.
This tour also celebrates the release of their critically acclaimed seventh studio album, The Human Fear, which launched in January.
The tour will kick off in Dundee on February 24 with a show at the LiveHouse. Following that, the band will make stops in Leeds, Manchester, and Newcastle later in the month.
As March rolls in, additional UK dates include performances in Nottingham, Norwich, Brighton, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, and Portsmouth, culminating in a concert at London’s Brixton Academy on March 11.
After wrapping up their UK dates, Franz Ferdinand will head to Europe, performing in cities like Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Brussels, Cologne, Tilburg, Luxembourg, and Frankfurt throughout March and April.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here for the UK and here for international fans. Check out the full list of tour dates below.

Earlier this year, The Human Fear received a four-star review from NME, with Andrew Trendell noting, “It’s a love letter to the idea of this band… ‘The Human Fear’ is – as promised – Franz-y as ever.”
Frontman Alex Kapranos recently discussed the renewed appreciation for the band, stating, “At the moment there seems to be a hunger for a good band that can play… It’s the human energy that you only get from a set of people standing on stage.”
For their performance at Glastonbury this month, the band will take the stage on Friday, June 27, from 17:15 to 18:15, right after Wet Leg and before Gracie Abrams.
